Product description

"the ""silent book"" by oscar-winning australian illustrator-writer shaun tan, prepared without using any writing, is a striking work that gives an illustrative meaning to the distant concept in the minds and souls of readers within the framework of remoteness, migration and emigration." Far, which is the product of a long four-year research, development and drawing period, offers an extraordinary visual reading experience with every page prepared for publication through meticulous processing with great skill.

This poetic work, which tells the quiet story of a lonely man who takes a step towards unknown lands in the hope of establishing a better life for his daughter and his wife, reveals how even the most ordinary details can seem foreign in a new place with its detailed illustrations of incomprehensible languages, strange animals, and unfamiliar objects.

Despite his young age, shaun tan, who has achieved numerous great awards in his career as an illustrator and writer, is considered one of the most famous illustrators of recent years, having earned the astrid lindgren memorial award (alma) in 2011 for his contributions to children's and youth literature.

He calls on his distant readers to be a light for the hope of every immigrant, every refugee, in short, everyone who has been made from their homeland... product name: far product code: 9786055678395 author: shaun tan publication year: 2014 cover type: hardcover number of pages: 128 paper type: coated paper translator:
