Product description
Dexilant (Dexilant) is available in capsule form and is used to treat digestive system problems such as peptic ulcers and stomach inflammation, as it contains some medicinal substances that help eliminate intestinal disorders.
Indications for use of Dexilant: treats GERD, eliminates stomach acid, treats indigestion, eliminates stomach ulcers, heals duodenal ulcers, treats Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.
The allowed dosage of Dexilant for the treatment of esophagitis is 30 mg once a day for adults, and treatment continues for 8 consecutive weeks.
The dosage for treating duodenal ulcers is 15 mg once daily for 4 weeks.
The dosage for treating Zollinger-Ellison syndrome is 60 mg per day.
The dosage for intestinal ulcers is 30 mg orally.
For glandular tumor diseases, the dosage is 60 mg once daily.
The pediatric dosage for treating GERD from 1 to 11 years old is 15 mg per 30 kg of the child's weight.
The usual pediatric dosage for ages 12-17 years is 15 mg.
Side effects: Vomiting, nausea, headache, acute , mouth pain, , in some cases, abdominal pain, sore throat, rash, rhinitis, severe difficulty breathing, urticaria, facial and tongue swelling, severe back pain, , blood in urine, excessive weight gain, body tremors, thirst, urination disorders.
Contraindications: It is prohibited for those who are allergic to the drug's composition.
If a rash occurs, this drug should be completely stopped to avoid worsening health.
It is not suitable for patients with liver failure.
Interaction with other drugs: Antiviral drugs, all drugs containing digoxin, Methotrexate, cilostazol, tacrolimus.
Dexilant for pregnant and breastfeeding women: A doctor should be consulted before taking this drug in the case of pregnant and breastfeeding women, as it may sometimes be dangerous to health and may cause fetal deformities or negatively affect the health of the infant.
