Generic CNC Shield Expansion Board with 4x A4988 Stepper Motor Driver

Product description

Type: Microcontroller Boards Arduino CNC Shield (100% GRBL Compatible) can be used to in building DIY CNC, Engraving machine etc.

, Features: It can drive four stepper motor using compatible stepstick.

GRBL v1.1 compatible.

(Open source firmware that runs on an Arduino UNO that turns G-code commands into stepper signals)Uses removable A4988 compatible stepper drivers.

(A4988, DRV8825 and others) PWM Spindle and direction pins4-Axis support (X, Y, Z, A-Can duplicate X, Y, Z or do a full 4th axis with custom firmware using pins A4 and A3)2 x End stops for each axis (6 in total) + one ProbeCoolant enable outputJumpers to set the Micro-Stepping for the stepper drivers.

(Some drivers like the DRV8825 can do up to 1/32 micro-stepping) Compact design.

Stepper Motors can be connected with 4 pin molex connectors or soldered in place.

Runs on 12-36V DC.

A4988 STEPPER MOTOR DRIVER This StepStick is a carrier board or breakout board for Allegro A4988 Microstepping Driver with Translator and Overcurrent Protection and it is compatible with Pololu A4988 stepper driver StepStick carrier board has all component need for A4988, so you can readily wire it with Arduino or RaspberryPi and control the stepper motor.

To operate this board, you need to have knowledge of A4988, therefore we recommend careful reading of the A4988 datasheet before using this product [stepper motor driver] lets you control one bipolar stepper motor at up to 1.5 A output current per coil.

Features of A4988 Automatic current decay mode detection / selection Internal UVLO Mixed with slow current decay modes Synchronous rectification for low power dissipation Crossover-current protection Thermal shutdown circuitry 3.3 and 5 V compatible logic supply Thermal shutdown circuitry Ground Fault Circuit Load short-circuit protection five optional step mode: full,1/2,1/4,1/8 and 1/16..
