Ömer seyfeddin was born in 1884 in gönen, balıkesir. he graduated from the war school in 1903. he published the magazine genç kalemler. he participated in the balkan wars. he spent 10 months in captivity in a greek prisoner camp. he taught literature at kabataş sultanîsi. when he died at the age of 36 in 1920, he had packed many beautiful stories into his short life. harem, high heels, kaşağı, and, diet, kütük, penbe i̇ncili kaftan, ashâb-ı kehfimiz, primo türk çocuğu, horoz, , turkish prescription, haunted mansion are a few of these beautiful stories.
