Move Your Vehicle to a Safe Location In case of a breakdown or accident, move your vehicle off the road as far as possible. Turn on your hazard lights. Remove and Open the Reflector Remove the reflector from the carrying case and secure it by opening its legs. Place at a Suitable Distance City: Place it at least 30 meters behind the vehicle. Outside the city/on the highway: Place it at least 100 meters behind the vehicle. If visibility is low (fog, night, etc.), place it even further away. Extra Safety If necessary, place a second reflector on the front of the vehicle. Collection When the danger has passed, fold the reflector and put it back in its box.
