Yellow sulfur is a natural substance with multiple uses in skin and hair care. It is an effective ingredient in traditional and cosmetic medicine for treating skin problems such as melasma, vitiligo, acne, and alopecia, in addition to its role in skin lightening. For skin lightening: Mix half a teaspoon of sulfur with one teaspoon of turmeric and one teaspoon of petroleum jelly. Apply to the skin for 30 minutes, then wash with cold water. For melasma: Mix garlic juice (blended with a little water) with a cup of vinegar and half a teaspoon of sulfur. Apply to the face and leave for 30 minutes, then wash with water. For acne: Apply a small amount of sulfur directly to the pimples. For vitiligo: Mix sulfur with olive oil and apply to the affected areas. For alopecia: Mix a quarter liter of vinegar with one tablespoon of sulfur, one tablespoon of salt, one tablespoon of charcoal, one tablespoon of ginger, one tablespoon of black seed, and a cup of honey. Apply to the affected area morning and evening daily. For external use only. Do not use on wounds or open skin. A patch test is recommended before use on a small area of skin. Keep out of reach of children. Store in a cool, dry, and dark place.
