metaphor? Is it an allegory or? A complete yaşar kemal novel with its astonishing and multi-layered plot of events, the richness and depth of its characters, and its fairy-tale language that gains an interview sharpness from time to time."yasar kemal, who describes the fear spreading like an infectious disease in society in ""a bird with one wing"", the main theme of the book is fear. ""i've always been afraid of fear."

i was too scared to.

when i write a novel, i don't want a horror inside me.

So i explained the fear in this book.

there was a big stone in the city where i served in kayseri, and the whole city was afraid that this stone would fall on them, so they tied it with iron chains to prevent it from falling on them.

If you are afraid then i would say go for it.

He says, “i wanted to write about this fear every year.”

Speaking of the torturous journey of postmaster remzi bey and his wife ms. melek, the protagonists of his novel, and the postman profession, which had much heavier conditions for that period, yaşar kemal says, “in that period, there was no one more important than the postman in anatolia.

The mailman was very important especially to me.

I had letters coming to me then.

The gendarmerie read these letters before me.

Sometimes i would want to send an article to the newspaper.

These articles would sometimes go away and sometimes not, he adds.

The one--winged bird novel, written by yaşar kemal at the end of the 1960s and now decided to publish, is a historical document that takes the reader to the anatolia of the 1960s, as well as presenting an important period in the literature of the great master.
