Automatic shut-off feature: Designed to automatically turn off when water runs out or the tank is removed. Cleaning instructions: Disconnect the humidification tank + turn it off. Fill the tank with 1 cup of water and add 1 cup of undiluted bleach/white vinegar. Close the lid and leave for approximately 20 minutes. After 20 minutes, remove any residue by gently shaking. Pour a generous amount of undiluted white vinegar into the base and leave for 20 minutes. Do not immerse the base in water. After 20 minutes, remove any residue by gently scrubbing with a soft-bristled brush/soft cloth. Do not scrub or scrape the power adapter. Rinse thoroughly. If bleach/undiluted white vinegar residue remains, rinse thoroughly with 1 tablespoon of hydrogen peroxide and 1 cup of water. Clean spots 360 degrees and dry all components before reassembling. Clean the humidifier at least once a week. Thoroughly clean and dry the unit before storage and before use after storage.
