Antiseptic and disinfectant: Actolind antiseptic disinfects and sterilizes various skin areas, wounds, and mucous membranes in cases of various injuries, especially for diabetics. It disinfects contaminated areas and is highly effective as an antiseptic and helps wound healing. Ingredients: Medical alcohol, polyhexanide. Features: Actolind accelerates the wound healing process by keeping the applied area clean and moist. Suitable for cleaning, moisturizing, and disinfecting wounds and medical equipment such as dressings and wound dressings used in wound care. Polyhexanide is classified as the first active ingredient in Actolind antiseptic for the care of chronic wounds and colonized and infected burns. Actolind is highly effective against multidrug-resistant microorganisms (MDRO, MRSA, VRE) and fungal pathogens (Candida albicans). Actolind effectively cleanses crusts, dead tissue, and biofilm layers from wounds. Provides easy and convenient dressing changes. It prevents re-infection of cleaned and fresh wounds. Actolind formula is patented worldwide. It is biocompatible and safe to use. It supports granulation and epithelialization. It can be safely used for a long time and is well tolerated by allergy and diabetic patients. Uses: Acute infected or uninfected wounds (e.g., traumatic wounds resulting from cuts, tears, abrasions, fractures, bites, stings, etc., or surgical wounds), chronic infected or uninfected wounds (e.g., diabetic ulcers, venous ulcers, decubitus (pressure ulcers), etc.), thermal or chemical infected or uninfected wounds (e.g., first and second degree burns, chemical burns, etc.), electrical wounds. Radiation wounds, urinary catheter entry areas, skin priming maintenance, fistulas and abscesses, suitable for cleaning and maintaining the wound surface before dressing, in case of infection with methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus or V-resistant Enterococcus.
