🔹 Prepare everything before you start: a new diaper, wipes, diaper rash cream, and a changing mat. 🔹 Open the old diaper and gently clean your baby (from front to back for girls, cleaning the folds for boys). 🔹 Allow the skin to dry for a few seconds before putting on the diaper. 🔹 Apply protective cream to prevent redness. 🔹 Put on the new diaper: the back under the back – the front over the belly – close the adhesive strips gently. 🔹 Make sure: ✅ It is not tight on the stomach ✅ The outer sides are open and not turned inward ✅ There is no gap at the thighs 🕐 Diaper change: Every 2–3 hours or when there is stool. ⚠️ Important notes: – Rashes = immediate change + airing + cream – Leakage = incorrect size – Dark urine = needs more fluids
