Product description
Agiolax provides a well-balanced blend of natural fibers and senna, proven to help relieve while supporting healthy bowel function.
How to use: Adults and adolescents over 12 years: Take one teaspoon in the evening, then a glass of water.
Not ed for children under 12 years.
Warnings and precautions: Do not exceed the specified dose.
Ingredients: Psyllium husks, Plantago ovata, Senna.
Senna and Ispaghula granules.
Why Senna and Ispaghula granules are used: It is an active laxative of plant origin.
Do not use Senna and Ispaghula granules: Patients with abnormal gastrointestinal narrowing, ileus, difficult-to-control , acute inflammatory bowel diseases such as Crohn's disease, ulcerative , appendicitis, abdominal pain of unknown cause, severe dehydration with water and electrolyte loss, and children under 10 years of age.
Warnings and precautions: Longer use may worsen any existing bowel sluggishness.
The preparation should only be used if cannot be treated by dietary changes or with the help of bulking agents.
When taken by incontinent adults, prolonged skin with feces should be avoided by changing sanitary towels.
Possible side effects: Stop using the product and seek immediate medical attention if you experience throat tightness, swelling of the eyes, face, lips, or tongue, feel faint, or have difficulty breathing.
Stop using the product if you experience hives or itching on the face or body.
Other medications and Senna and Ispaghula granules: In cases of chronic use or misuse, potassium loss can increase the effect of cardiac glycosides and affect the action of antiarrhythmics.
Potassium loss can be enhanced in combination with certain diuretics, cortisone or cortisone-like substances (adrenocortical steroids), and licorice root.
The absorption of concomitantly taken medications from the gastrointestinal tract into the bloodstream may be delayed.
A reduction in insulin dose may be required in insulin-dependent diabetic patients.
How to use Senna and Ispaghula granules: Adults and children >
10 years: 1-2 teaspoons/sachets after dinner.
The correct individual dose is the lowest dose required to achieve soft stools
do not take more than 2 teaspoons/sachets per day.
Without medical consultation, it should not be taken for a longer period.
