It recalls his childhood memories of water splashing on a very hot wall, the humidity, and the interaction between cold and hot as they meet. This vision reveals the uniqueness of this designer’s creativity. After much anticipation, the first fragrance by Azzedine Alaïa is here. Combining the artistic brilliance of young perfumer Marie Salamagne with the unique bottle design by furniture designer Martin Szekely, the fragrance embodies the creativity and grandeur for which Azzedine Alaïa is known. Rather than being conceived in a space constrained by market conditions, the fragrance was born out of a true love affair and the result of many long discussions around a dining table, exchanging ideas and thoughts with the Alaïa team. However, Marie Salamagne was the one who steered the ship when it came to creating this beautiful fragrance. Alaia curated the production of his creative team, while his photographer Paolo Roversi and his creative partners were part of this process.
