Artelac Advanced Eye Drops.
Why are Artelac Advanced Eye Drops used? Sodium hyaluronate drops act as artificial tears.
They make dry eyes feel more comfortable.
They are used to relieve dry eyes and pain.
They moisturize, soothe, and lubricate the surface of your eye, making it feel more comfortable.
Do not use Artelac Advanced Eye Drops if you are allergic to any of its ingredients.
Warnings and precautions for using Artelac Advanced Eye Drops: To ensure this is the right treatment for you, before starting to use eye drops, it is important that your doctor or pharmacist knows: if you have had an allergic reaction to a preservative in eye drops in the past.
Possible side effects when using Artelac Advanced Eye Drops: Stop using the product and seek immediate medical attention if you experience throat tightness, swelling of the eye, face, lips, or tongue, feel faint, or have difficulty breathing.
Stop using the product if you experience hives or itching on your face or body.
Other medications and Artelac Advanced Eye Drops: Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or have recently taken any other medications, including over-the-counter medications.
How to use Artelac Advanced Eye Drops: Wash your hands thoroughly before using the drops.
Remove the cap from the bottle (or the tip of the unit if you are using a single-use unit).
Tilt your head back slightly and pull down the lower eyelid to form a pocket.
Hold the bottle (or single-use unit) upside down near your eye.
Try not to touch your eye while doing this.
Apply enough pressure to release one drop into your eye.
Only use a second drop if you missed the first drop in your eye.
Close your eye for one or two minutes, and gently press the side of your nose where the corner of your eye meets your nose.
This helps prevent the drop from draining and keeps it in your eyes.
Repeat the process in your other eye if you are instructed to use the drops in both eyes.
Replace the cap (or if you are using a single-dose unit, discard the used unit).
How to store Artelac Advanced Eye Drops: Keep all medicines out of the reach and sight of children.
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct heat and light.
Always check the expiration date on the label, and how long the drops can be used once the container is opened.
Many eye drops are kept for only four weeks once the container is opened, to reduce the risk of eye infections.
