Product description
Avalon Avocin 2% Vaginal Cream is a unique formulation of clindamycin phosphate.
It is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of bacterial vaginosis in non-pregnant women.
Other common pathogens associated with vulvovaginitis such as Candida albicans, Chlamydia trachomatis, Neisseria gonorrhoeae, and Herpes simplex should be excluded by appropriate methods.
AVOCIN VAGINAL CREAM is provided in a 40g tube with plastic applicators to facilitate proper use and of the medication to the affected area.
Instructions for Use: Wash your hands with soap and water.
Open the tube.
Attach the applicator nozzle to the tube until it is secure but not too tight.
Gently squeeze the tube from the bottom to push enough cream into the applicator barrel.
Make sure it is sufficient to reach the prescribed dose.
Most applicators provide markings to indicate where to stop.
Unscrew the applicator from the tube.
Lie on your back with your knees bent towards you.
Gently insert the applicator deep into the vagina.
Press the plunger down until it reaches its original position.
Wash your hands with soap and water after applying the cream.
Note, if you are pregnant, insert the applicator gently and do not insert it past the point where you feel resistance.
