Product description

Mometasone is a corticosteroid that mediates anti-inflammatory actions. Mometasone works by reducing the inflammatory responses associated with asthma, allergic rhinitis, nasal polyps, and corticosteroid-responsive skin diseases. It inhibits the action of inflammatory cells, such as mast cells, eosinophils, basophils, lymphocytes, macrophages, and neutrophils. Avalon Avocom 0.05% Nasal Spray Therapeutic Indications: It is sprayed into the nose to help relieve symptoms that may occur with hay fever or other year-round allergies, including nasal congestion, discharge, itching, and sneezing. Your doctor may also prescribe this medication to help prevent these symptoms two to four weeks before the start of the pollen season.
