Avesta Yayınları Koronatopia

Product description

Koronatopia, both in its content and in its style, is a unique creation in its field and our hopes for intellectual texts in Kurdish are growing.

The book by Aram Warnas "Koronatopia" was published.

"We once saw that homes/countries/places are lacking a hospitable environment.

When a project was completed, everyone returns home/country/place.

No one can be a neighbor.

After the wars of the 20th century, the idea of home (country and place) no longer exists.

During the quarantine days, this aspect was increasingly understood that no one sees "home" as a place of rest anymore.

The way we know is that you do not feel anything about this.

Therefore, it is unclear how a new life can be created within homes again.

This book is made up of various intellectual articles, considering the coronavirus gives insights into ideas such as grotesque, cosmopolitanism, hospitality, conatus, panopticon, Leviathan, the collective myth, biopower, biopolitics, chronos, kairos, khora, flaneur, thanatos, eros, pharmakon, rhizome, pedagogy, and collapsology and it becomes vibrant from many perspectives.

It's not just a philosophical text, but also invites us to interdisciplinary discussions with readings and different views from cinema, literature, linguistics (linguistics!), politics, and our daily life. Koronatopia, both in its content and in its style, is a unique creation in its field and our hopes for intellectual texts in Kurdish are growing.

Adem Warnas, after experiencing the creation process in Turkish, returned to his mother tongue and did not forget it, and at the end of the book, he wrote a letter to his son who was born: 'A Letter of Affection to Aram.'
