Ayrıntı Yayınları Fluid Life

Product description

This book is written for people who are constantly obliged to run from place to place at a great speed in order to stay safe on the ice.

a work to keep by the bedside of people who seek permanent meanings in a life that has flowed, in which there is nothing solid and standing.

It is full of suggestions and comments that will help those who feel incapable of understanding this life, in the face of global problems such as wars, mass migrations, and environmental destruction, which everyone feels the bitterness of on earth.

most importantly, it is an initiative that reopens the possibility of turning the world into a more livable place for humanity.

In this work, bauman calls us to take global responsibility rather than waste time bringing local solutions to the problems of the planet.

he says that these problems can be overcome with the interactive network created by people on a global scale.

Bauman says that the public sphere must turn into a dialogue ground where discussions, confrontations and compromises are carried out, and notes that a public sphere established with the authority of nation-states cannot bring solutions to global problems.According to him, the permanent peace and tranquility of the fluid society we live in can only be established on a ground where everyone takes responsibility for each other, cares for each other, and provides political solutions to each other's problems.

If this is the first step, then now we are past the realization that we can no longer be sheltered from storms and that there is no shelter unique to us. Here, with this work, bauman offers his readers the means to understand the desolation they feel, doubt and feel in their hearts at any time, and to take measures against it.
