Brief instructions for using BD 0.5ml syringes: Preparation: Wash your hands thoroughly and sterilize the injection site with a medical swab. Drawing up the dose: Remove the cap, push air into the medication container, then draw up the exact amount (maximum 0.5 ml). Expelling air: Gently tap the side of the syringe to collect the bubbles at the top, then press the plunger slightly to expel the air. Injection: Gently pinch the skin (skin fold) and inject the needle at a 90-degree angle (or as instructed by your doctor), then slowly press the plunger. Safe disposal: Remove the needle and immediately place it in a sharps container (do not recap the needle).
