Belge Yayınları Feleğin Çemberinde

Product description

Those years were good years...

cats live, dogs live, rats in the holes also live.

the elderly are lying on their couches, dozing off, and children are sleeping on cushions as they are.

not much is needed to spread cheer around.

a little dolmadakia, a little keftedakia and good kardia is enough...

when i left istanbul, i felt like i was leaving my shadow there.

but no.

i was wrong.

my shadow did not leave me, and with it, the whole istanbul was attached to me, and my house in athens, loksandra, was filled.

wherever i turn my head, wherever i stop, i feel the loksandray behind me.

the house started to smell like istanbul.number of pages: 216year of printing: 1998language: turkishpublishing house: belge publications
