The story revolves around Hamad, who has Down Syndrome, and his sister, Ghosq, is a son, brother, and companion. Ghosq took her name from herself, as if she were Ghosq when it appears in the sky. Her brother's face, different from the rest of the faces, became a special mark on her life, accompanying her and following in her footsteps. Ghosq became a mother at the age of fourteen, hovering in Hamad's sky. She did not receive her share of education to take care of her brother, and she was unable to bond with the one she loved when he gave her the choice between him and her brother, so she chose to keep her eyes on Hamad's distinctive face throughout her life. Ghosq was not the only one who took care of Hamad, as her loyal companion and the neighborhood neighbors all shared in this humanitarian mission, while her conscience remained aware that Hamad was like a shining candle in her life. The novel addresses the psychological condition of those with Down syndrome, and the surrounding context from a spontaneous perspective. It also addresses the psychological and emotional state experienced by those around those with the condition, revealing within the folds of the novel the relationship of those with Down syndrome to their brothers, neighbors, friends, relatives, and colleagues.
