Product description

The nameless country is the only novel of the french writer fournier, which was published before he died from being shot in the front in 1914. The novel, which also carries autobiographical qualities, immediately achieved extraordinary success upon its publication in 1913 and has entered among the classics of french literature. This adventure novel, set in the sologne region of france, tells the story of françois seurel's close friend augustin meaulnes, who disappeared for four days in the town. The richness, greatness, immortality of alain-fournier's work, his lean presence, his true feelings, even if it sometimes slips into a dreamy environment, stem from its realism.

the great and constant influence on the contemporary novel, especially the french novel, is embodied in the author's choice of writing, which is dedicated to turning the “no” into the “happens”, the search for the human being. The author has created a world of adsiz country, where dreams and reality are intertwined with the bare truth of his life.
