CAN Days in Burma

Product description

“how can you say that our presence in this country has no other purpose than to steal? Very simple.

while the officers are trampling the burmese, the businessmen are diving into their pockets.

if this country was not in the hands of the english, do you think my company could make timber contracts like now? Or other lumber companies or oil companies, miners, farmers and traders? Without the government behind it, how could the rice circle continue to rob the unfortunate farmer and turn him into an onion? "george orwell's first novel, ""animal farm"" and ""nineteen hundred and forty-four"", a modern classic, expresses the author's experiences and reactions to the colonial police force during his youth and the imperial administration." Orwell describes the life of the british in burma, also known as myanmar, which is officially called myanmar today, the locals who cooperated with the colonizers, those who opposed the system of oppression and exploitation, and the mastery of love, hate, and passion in the circle.
