CAN Fall

Product description

Albert camus would have taken his respected place in the world of contemporary thought and writing only with his plays, perhaps only with 'the sisyphus story' and 'the altruistic man'.

but it is first of all the narrative works that make camus camus.

“foreign” (1942), “plague” (1947) and “fall” (1956) are three major peaks among these works. However, some art lovers prefer the 'fall' among these three masterpieces.

This book, without trying to highlight any particular thought or opinion, in a lean narrative and original fiction, with a rich charge of thought emotion, deeply questions and judges the contemporary world and its people, displaying their ugliness and pettiness.

But, at the same time, it holds a mirror on each other as individuals living in this world, and therefore responsible for each other in one way or another, to one degree or another, through the story of the former lawyer jean-baptiste clamence, it tells us the unique story of those who live without endangering themselves, that is, all of us and each of us.

a year after the release of the “fall”, camus won the nobel prize, it must not be a coincidence.
