CAN Felatun Bey ve Rakım Efendi (Original Text with Annotations)

Product description

If you ask about felatun bey's outfit, we will make an apology from the recipe. Let's say, there are many pictures on cardboard in dress shops and tailoring shops in beyoğlu to show the fashions, right? Here are a few hundred of them available in felatun bey, and he would definitely work until he could see himself in the picture, facing the mirror of the image. "no one would see binaenaleyh in the same outfit for two days, so it would be possible to say, ""this is mr. felatun's outfit." The dual structure idea embodied by ahmet mithat with felatun and rakım turns into a formula that other writers will use when reading their theses in later periods.

In addition to early examples such as şıpsevdi's meftun, araba sevdası's bihruz, şık's fame, we see that prominent and influential writers of the republic period, such as peyami safa, yakup kadri, halide edib, also created characters with traces of felatun in their novels. We are publishing felatun bey and rakım efendi, one of the fundamental texts that first met with readers in 1875 and shaped the course of our modern literature, as it was written, with its original text and explanatory notes.
