summary:“like everyone born in these lands, i must have more or less carried our flawed genes, i don’t know which of the little stories i told i lived, which i listened to, and even which i made up without realizing it.

Maybe it's my imagination of others memories.

Maybe i'm weaving and expanding the parts of the truth that remain in my memory, or i've adopted things i thought i experienced, enough to believe that i read them in books that filled my childhood and that i personally experienced what those beautiful writers described.

)To understand, i have to touch the gaps, not weave them, tell stories about the fact that i'm not sure.Even though i'm asking that what i'm telling be read as a story, i'm not making it all up.

what i do is fill the big black spots with fiction, so that i build a narrative that wants to be whole, even if it doesn't succeed.

”"hometown stories, consisting of writings, photo readings, and stories that ayfer tunç brings together her views on ""hometown"" and the people of her hometown, seen from the perspective of a fiction writer, and what she distilled from these views, revealing the local sources of her world of emotions and thoughts."
