Cem Yayınevi Moral Education

Product description

Moral education is a book that brings together the lectures durkheim gave at the sorbonne university during the academic year 1902-1903. Durkheim had also repeated these lectures at the university of bordeaux. Moral education appears to be a subject durkheim focused on in particular. The study, which consists of a total of eighteen lessons, is a version of the lectures durkheim gave to his students in class, with very few changes. Durkheim has not written his lectures as they are (in extenso). Therefore, even if some interruptions and deviations from the language of writing are seen in the text, this does not diminish the importance of the lessons at all. Because the education of individuals who will join society as new members has been of vital importance in every era and in every country. Society is not the creation of individuals who have grown up in it, nor is it the creation of the land on which society has stood

it is primarily a whole of thoughts and feelings. Society is a consciousness, it is the consciousness of living together.
