Product description

»your admirable work on baudelaire reached us like a ray of light.

our thoughts are with you.

« »every line we managed to release today is a hard-won victory against the forces of darkness, no matter how uncertain the future in which we entrust these lines. The correspondence between walter benjamin, one of the most inspiring figures of the twentieth century, and theodor w. adorno, one of the leading names of critical theory, is being published in turkish for the first time, in accordance with the nature of mutual exchange of ideas. "the focus of these few letters, which play with the reader's perception of time and space, is being designed and written as a miniature model of benjamin's ""the arcades project"" to form ""baudelaire"" writings."

the annotations, prepared as a result of painstaking work, offer a “comparative” reading of letters to both the general reader and researchers.

according to some, benjamin had a dream: he was standing on the platform of a station, waiting for his “past” train, which was not clear where it came from, where it was going, and even where it was going to pass.

A train that does not stop at any station, in fact, it never stops, moving at the speed of lightning, with constant changes, so its route and the number of stops and wagons are unknown, and no one can imagine its image, because it does not have an image, there will be only one opportunity to jump on this cosmic-utopian train. If he couldn't seize and capture that microscopic moment, he would fall on the rails with the name he had given, and would die under the iron wagons... but dreaming is also a perception and even a form of thinking.
