Instructions for Use - 1/2-inch Threaded Elbow × 1-inch CPVC Hot-Melt Sleeve: Tools: Wrench + CPVC adhesive + brush + Teflon tape Steps: 1. For the 1/2-inch threaded end: Clean the thread + wrap Teflon tape 8 times + screw into the 1/2-inch fitting, tightening with a wrench just half a turn 2. 1-inch socket side: Sand the 1-inch pipe + apply CPVC glue to the pipe and socket + insert the pipe into the socket and wrap a quarter turn + let it sit for 10 minutes to set. Warnings: Only grip the wrench on the brass. Do not grip the CPVC body.
