1 For immediate relief, apply directly by gently massaging the sensitive tooth with your fingertip for 1 minute, up to 2 times a day, or for children aged 6-12, once a week or less frequently. 2 With continued use twice a day, it repairs the sensitive areas of the teeth. For long-lasting relief, apply to a soft toothbrush and make sure to brush all sensitive areas of the teeth. 3 In-vitro studies show resistance to acid after 5 brushings. Sensitive teeth may be a sign of a problem that needs to be treated by your dentist and has not yet shown symptoms. If pain persists, consult your dentist. For children aged 6 and under: To minimize swallowing, use under supervision and apply only a pea-sized amount. If fluoride is taken through other means, consult a dentist or doctor.
