Product description

Author: mirna al-mahdi classification: story and novel publisher: dar al-karama publication date: 2025 cover design: plain paper number of pages: 432 summary:- what angers elias al-qaddousi while sitting in the restaurant now is that his new thief did not only put his hand on him as the english general did before him, but he completely distorted his identity.

he changed the design of the seat cushions that were once decorated with the cheerful embroidery of the galilee farmer, and replaced a dull, lifeless wood with sofas that were inlaid with the scallop shell.

the distortion did not stop at the decoration, it also replaced an israeli jazz band with an oriental tambourine that was singing hearts and giving space to the listener, to sing along with the aliyai, the uf, the ataba and the megana as he was dancing.

although elias recoiled at the changes that had marred the memories of his family, who had lunch every sunday at this historic restaurant, the settler's low taste served his plan perfectly.

If the sofas had not been rectangular, made of dark wood, opaque like a coffin, he would not have been able to plant his bomb in them, and if the hebrew band had not been playing loudly, its dissonance would have been an excellent cover for the ticking sound of the bomb, surrounded by at least forty members of the ergon and stern gangs, celebrating the success of the massacre they had committed in a small village a few days ago.
