Denx DX3618 Car Dash Cam, Features Three Cameras for Comprehensive Coverage

Step 1: Download the Companion App Most modern 3-channel smart dash cams like the DX3618 utilize a universal dash cam application. Search for "Viidure" or "JarvisCam" in the Google Play Store (for Android) or Apple App Store (for iOS). Alternatively, check the user manual box or the dash cam's system settings menu for a QR code you can scan to download the exact certified app. Step 2: Turn on the Dash Cam's Wi-Fi Hotspot The camera acts as a local Wi-Fi router. It does not need cellular data to connect. Turn on your car's ignition so the dash cam powers up. Look at the camera screen. If a Wi-Fi icon is not already visible, press the Menu/Settings button (usually the gear or square icon). Navigate to the Wi-Fi option and select ON. The screen will now display the camera's unique Hotspot Name (SSID, e.g., DX3618_XXXX or CarDVR_XXXX) along with the default password (most commonly 12345678 or 00000000). Step 3: Connect Your Phone to the Dash Cam's Wi-Fi Open the Settings app on your mobile phone and go to Wi-Fi. Wait for the dash cam's network name (SSID discovered in Step 2) to appear in the list of available networks and select it. Enter the default password (12345678). Important Note: Your phone might show a warning stating "Internet may not be available" or "No Internet Connection". This is normal since the dash cam transmits video data, not internet data. Select "Keep Wi-Fi Connection" or "Connect Anyway". Step 4: Open the App & Live Stream Open the downloaded app on your smartphone. Tap the main action button, usually labeled "Connect Device", "Enter Dashcam", or "Camera". You will now see a real-time live video feed from your DX3618 system. From here, you can switch between the front, cabin, and rear lens views, format your SD card, or download recorded video clips directly to your phone's photo gallery.
