Open the lid and fill the kettle with water (do not exceed the fill line). Secure the lid tightly. Plug the cord into the car’s cigarette lighter (12V). Start the car (this is important to prevent the battery from draining). The heating indicator will light up. Wait approximately 15–25 minutes for the water to heat up/boil. Unplug the kettle when finished. Pour the water carefully, as it will be very hot.
