summary: I wish this world was a mine-free place.

but it's not!The people whose stories you'll read here are often caught by landmines while going about their daily lives

by a village fountain, in a schoolyard, while gathering firewood or going to chop wood... sometimes on the way back from a picnic, sometimes when they sit on a stone out of exhaustion, sometimes while chasing their sheep, and sometimes while trying to play with a toy box with their friends...Most of the victims don't want to talk in detail about the moment of the incident

some details about that moment are always in their minds

some step on a mine first, and while trying to escape from the mined area with that fear, they step on a mine themselves

some think they will survive if they "fly like superman," but they can't. &nbsp

Getting out alive without exploding changes their lives irrevocably. They are the survivors of these terrible explosions, as one victim said: “those whose lives were left under a mine…”
