Product description

Amoxicillin capsule is used to treat infections caused by bacteria in different parts of the body.

Amoxicillin capsule can also be used with other medicines to treat stomach ulcers.

Do not take Emox Capsules 500 mg if you are allergic to amoxicillin, penicillin, or any other ingredients of this medicine, or if you have ever had an allergic reaction to any antibiotic.

Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking amoxicillin capsule if you have glandular fever, kidney problems, or do not urinate regularly.

Possible serious side effects include allergic reactions, skin rash, or flat red circular spots under the skin surface or bruising of the skin.

A delayed allergic reaction can usually occur 7 to 12 days after taking amoxicillin capsules.

Other symptoms include flu-like symptoms, high temperature, chills, sore throat, or other signs of infection.

Inform your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking Allopurinol, Probenecid, medicines to help stop blood clots, other antibiotics, or Methotrexate.

The usual dosage of amoxicillin capsules ranges from 250 mg to 500 mg three times daily or 750 mg to 1 gram every 12 hours, depending on the severity and type of infection.

Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children.

Do not use this medicine after the expiry date stated on the carton.

Store in the original carton at a temperature below 30°C.

Do not use this medicine if you notice clear signs of deterioration.
