About the Book: A pleasant and highly beneficial book, following the practice of some scholars in collecting and recording beneficial insights and subtle points, then compiling them into a book. The book is contained in one small volume, and its title indicates its content, as it gathers diverse benefits in: creed, exegesis, jurisprudence of the Sunnah, biography, matters of the heart, conduct, and self-cultivation. You will find in the book eloquent sermons, admonitions against worldly desires and encouragement towards the Hereafter, important chapters on knowledge, the qualities of its people, and the pitfalls of its bearers, in addition to reflections on some verses and hadiths. Warning: Some people confuse the book “Al-Fawa’id” and the book “Bada’i’ Al-Fawa’id” by Ibn Al-Qayyim, may God have mercy on him, thinking they are one book because of the similarity in name. However, the reader will realize the difference between them in content and subject. It is enough to know that “Bada’i’ Al-Fawa’id” is in four volumes in which he mentions scientific issues in which he elaborates at length, and he talks a lot about issues of grammar and syntax.
