The susceptibility to rust for the Geepas GMG767 Meat Grinder depends on the specific part of the machine, as they are made from different materials. Material Breakdown & Rust Risk Cutting Blades: These are made of stainless steel, which is highly resistant to rust. Under normal use, these should not rust. Cutting Plates (3mm, 5mm, 7mm): These are typically made of iron or carbon steel (often coated). These are the parts most prone to rust if they are left damp after washing. Grinder Head & Tray: These are usually die-cast aluminum. Aluminum does not "rust" like iron, but it can corrode or turn a dull grey/black if put in a dishwasher or cleaned with harsh chemicals. Housing/Body: This is primarily high-quality plastic, so there is zero risk of rust on the exterior body.
