Generic Between the well and the throne

Product description

Between the well and the throne lie stories and lessons. “He said, ‘Do you know what you did to Joseph and his brother when you were ignorant?’” [Yusuf: 89] Perhaps Joseph’s words to his brothers struck them like a thunderbolt when they heard them. They probably never imagined they would stand face to face with Joseph again, and perhaps they thought he had perished. But time passed, and here they were today before Joseph in a difficult and unenviable position. What they had done to Joseph and his brother was truly shameful. Undoubtedly, they remembered everything they had done to Joseph, from the moment they took him from his father’s hands to the moment they threw him into the well, and even to the moment they sold him for a paltry sum of a few coins. Undoubtedly, they remembered their collective cruelty and how none of them had shown him any mercy, forgetting that he was their brother. The situation is very difficult, especially since they went too far in hurting him without mercy or compassion, and did not even take into account their father's condition and old age.
