Open the car door all the way so you can see the door latch (the small metal ring on the car frame). Insert the metal end of the handle horizontally into the latch, pointing downward, so that it locks securely in place. Press down on the handle with your body weight to ensure it is firmly and securely in place.Use one hand to hold onto the handle for balance while getting in or out of the car. Remove the handle by pulling it upward as soon as you’re done, then store it in the door pocket or glove compartment for future use.
