Generic Eliminate hesitation

Product description

We had been searching for a new apartment for two weeks because our current place was getting old and our lease was about to expire. We looked at list after list and saw a few vacant houses, and finally, I couldn't take it anymore. No one seemed able to make up their minds. It wasn't that we desperately needed a place to live, but I was getting frustrated, and my impatience was getting the better of me, so I took it upon myself to speed things up and make a decision. Eventually, when we narrowed it down to two apartments, I insisted on one, and everyone agreed and took my recommendation so they could get back to their busy lives. At first glance, it sounds like a story about taking charge, but it's quite the opposite. One of my roommates had a dog—a small Chihuahua named Banana—who was practically a lucky charm in our apartment. Every other apartment I looked at didn't mind having dogs, but the one I chose did. I had overlooked this crucial factor in my eagerness to get this over with. We considered sneaking him into the building and out for a year, but decided it wasn't in our best interest. What happened in the end was that I confessed to the prospective landlord, and we had to pay an extra $100 a month. When I say "we," I mean "me," because I paid the bill because it was solely my fault.
