Trusted by students, revered by educators and relied on by professional musicians, it is all but guaranteed that you will find a Rico reed on a clarinet from the high school band classroom to the stage of the most prestigious symphony in the world.

Featuring a thinner vamp and unfiled cut designed for ease of play and a traditional blank for a clear sound, D’Addario Woodwinds (formerly Rico) B♭ clarinet reeds are ideal for a wide array of playing situations.

D’Addario’s new digital reed-making technology has resulted in unprecedented quality and consistency in today’s Rico reed.

From the cane fields in France to its reed-manufacturing facility in the USA, D’Addario has invested millions to create the world’s most consistent reed.

Rico reeds have been the standard among teachers and students for generations.

Priced affordably with students, parents and educators in mind, Rico reeds create a perfect seal on the instrument mouthpiece and are designed to reward the student with an immediate sound.

B♭ clarinet reeds are available in a variety of strengths and convenient 10-reed boxes, 3-reed packs and 25-reed dispensers for a full range of clarinets and saxophones.

For nearly a century, the name Rico has been synonymous with quality reeds.

Now part of the D’Addario family of musical instruments and accessories, D’Addario Woodwinds has revamped the reed-making process to create the reed of choice among all levels of clarinetists and saxophonists, played in the world's most respected symphonies, conservatories, and jazz clubs.
