Basic rules of the game: start: each player chooses a piece they represent, and the dice are rolled to determine who starts
the player who gets the highest number starts first.
movement: the player throws the dice and moves his piece the number of squares equal to the number shown on the dice.
ladders (stairs): if the player's piece lands at the bottom of a ladder, it ascends directly to the square at the top of the ladder, shortening the distance for him.
snakes (lives): if the player's piece lands on the head of a snake, it descends to the square where the tail of the snake ends, delaying him from advancing.
win: to win the game, the player must reach the last square (number 100) exactly
and if the number resulting from the dice is greater than the number of remaining squares, the piece 'bounces' back by the amount of the excess.
