Generic The Scent of Orchids

Product description

In the 1950s, Raquel and Alejo live a secret love affair, but Raquel's father's reservations prevent their relationship from flourishing freely. Despite their precautions, their affair is exposed one night. The lovers are punished by being separated: Raquel is forced to travel to Paris, while Alejo is sent to the Amazon rainforest in Peru. Many years later, new characters unexpectedly enter the lives of both Raquel and Alejo: Carmina, Nana, and Santiago. Our five protagonists are connected by a wedding dress, and each will tell the story from their own perspective, even one of them narrating it from the depths of death, like a ghost wandering the Amazon rainforest!
