Key Features Alberto Morillas created Pi Cologne in 1998. Overview Givenchy is a French luxury fashion and perfume house. The brand hosts haute couture clothing, accessories, Givenchy fragrances, perfumes, and cosmetics. The House of Givenchy was founded in 1952 by designer Hubert de Givenchy and is a member of the Couture and Ready-to-Wear Association. It is owned by the luxury conglomerate LVMH. From May 2, 2017, to April 10, 2020, its artistic director was Clare Waight Keller, the first woman to hold the position. On June 15, 2020, Givenchy announced that Matthew M. Williams, of 1017 Alyx 9SM, would succeed Clare Waight Keller as creative director of the house. In 1952, Hubert de Givenchy founded his luxury house and launched a new collection of separates with some floating skirts and puffy blouses made of raw cotton. Givenchy received critical acclaim and Vogue praised his stunning debut collection, No. 14.
