This makeup brush kit is best used with powder, gel, cream, and liquid makeup. Synthetic brushes are best used to layer powder or apply creams such as liquid, makeup, cream blush and concealer. To clean: Run bristles under lukewarm water (avoid hot water). Add 1 teaspoon of baby shampoo (or liquid Castile soap) to water and gently combine. Dip the bottom half of bristles into mixture and swirl. Rinse bristles under lukewarm water. Put bristles dry, then reshape. Let brush air dry, then fluff with fingers.
