Before installing your faucet, let the dirty water that has accumulated in your water pipes for various reasons run out until clean water flows. After the first use, open the faucet at regular intervals using the control knob on the aerator and rinse it thoroughly with plenty of water. • Faucets are designed for normal building conditions. Damage caused by excessively hot water or freezing is not covered under warranty. • In situations where there is a risk of freezing, the water supply should be shut off at the main valve, the plumbing system should be drained, and the faucets should be left in the open position. • To avoid damaging your faucets during installation, do not use bare or serrated wrenches. • Never use cleaning powders or other acid-containing substances—such as those used for cleaning sinks and countertops—that can damage chrome to clean soiled surfaces. • Clean chrome and PVD-coated surfaces with a soft cloth dampened with soap or alcohol. To maintain their shine, polish them every 3–4 months with a cloth soaked in kerosene.
