Product Q&As
Is the pan made entirely of 100% pure copper, both inside and out? I ask because the pan in the pictures has a different color on the inside than on the outside. Please clarify. Thank you.
Answer from GürBakır
The entire pan is 100% copper. The inside is lined with tin to make it food grade. Copper products must be lined with tin inside to be able to cook.

No wire or abrasives are used. Each county has a tinman. With proper use, tin roofs are done once a year in homes. It distributes heat evenly and is healthy.

How is this product maintained? It will eventually darken.
Answer from GürBakır
Hello, let's talk about copper products. Natural coppers will cause the outer surface to fade when first used. In natural coppers, the inner surface darkens when it starts to be used. It does not cause any harm to health. We recommend that you canning in a time frame of 1-2 years depending on usage. We recommend that you wash it by hand if possible. You can put it in the dishwasher, but we recommend that you rinse it after it is finished. If you want to keep its old shine, you can rub it with lemon salt.
