Cleaning Instructions: Hand wash the attachment ring with warm soapy water and rinse thoroughly. Clean the Haakaa Breast Pump with hot steam or by boiling in water for 2-3 minutes. If using a brush, use soft bristle brushes or soft sponges as hard scourers may scratch the surface. How to Use: Clean your pump by boiling in water for 2-3 minutes. Place the pump flange over your nipple, ensuring it is centered comfortably. Apply suction by squeezing the base of the pump to start milk flow. Once milk begins to flow, allow the pump to work. When the pump is full, empty into a safe storage container and reposition. Tips/Warnings: Encourage let-down by placing a warm flannel on your breast and massaging gently. While your child is feeding, attach the Haakaa pump to the other breast to catch milk. To prevent the rim from cracking, squeeze the Gen. 3 160ml pump by pushing up the side of the bottom edge, rather than squeezing from the middle.
