Hello Craft Hello Crafts Punch Mat Kit, DIY Punch Set, Spring Flowers

One of the most important parts of a punch set is the punch needle, and please stop using the Hello brand needles. This is the second set I’ve bought from you, and in both cases the needle was defective. In the first cushion set I bought, the needle was rusty, so I threw it away right away. Now the tip is bent, so it’s trash again. If there were a spare tip, I’d at least be able to attach it and use it for something else, but the sets come with a single-tip, single-wire punch needle that’s defective. Aside from the needle, the rest of the set is quite nice and gets the job done. I hope the threads will be enough, but you never know. The cream color seems like it’ll be enough, but the colored ones might not be quite enough. The pattern is good. The non-slip felt to be glued to the bottom looks very functional and high-quality. The punch glue sticks well but smells really, really bad. I use tufting glue anyway, so I’ll stick with that. A hoop comes in the box too, but since the pattern is large, the round hoop crushes the design—the same thing happened when I bought a pillow. I’ll use a wire hoop, but if the fabric had allowed for a bit more hoop allowance after the pattern, it would have been better. The margin is a bit tight in certain spots. Bottom line: is it worth buying? Yes, it’s worth it for the pattern and fabric quality, but you might have to source the application materials yourself.
