HEREND Coffee Cup

Product description

Volume: 120 ml. rothschild: a pattern with a story. The rothschild pattern takes its name from the famous rothschild family, which requested this pattern in 1860. The pattern has been enriched with edge borders in different colors over the years.

behind the rothschild is an interesting story: the lady of the house lost necklace, a bird into the open window, take it and leave it on the branch of the tree. When the leaves fall, a necklace is found, and this event inspires the bird figure in the pattern. Herend is not just a brand of porcelain, it is an art passed down from generation to generation. Traditional methods are used in the production of porcelain, while technology is only used for heating the kilns. The unique whiteness, transparency and clarity of porcelain are obtained through a special mixture of raw materials.

200 painters work for herend, painting the figures entirely in daylight.
