I was so indecisive when buying these boots! Since they’re made of PVC, I was skeptical about how they’d look. I had reservations—like whether they’d be comfortable, if they’d hurt my ankles, or if they’d keep my feet cold—but I wanted to buy them anyway. I figured, “Worst-case scenario, I’ll just return them.” They arrived today; I opened the box and thought, “Wow, these are so stylish.” Putting them on was just as tricky as it usually is with typical Chelsea boots—not incredibly difficult, but they’re easier to slip on while sitting down. But as I said, that’s the case with any Chelsea boot. Taking them off is a bit of a struggle too, but again, it’s not excessively hard. They’re incredibly comfortable, and the thick sole looks great. The only thing is, they might feel a bit cold, but I’ll get some felt liners for that. As I use them and if I run into any issues, I’ll update this review. I have absolutely no regrets right now, and other leather or faux leather boots eventually crack, or the stitching and adhesive lose their hold, and they start letting in water. I’ll also mention that there’s a boot from a famous brand. It’s incredibly heavy and doesn’t keep your feet very warm. Some people have called this boot heavy, but to me, it’s as light as a feather, and it keeps my feet just as warm as that other boot. It’ll be my lifesaver on rainy days, and the fact that it doesn’t slip is an added bonus.
